Key Points to Installation:
Words of Wisdom - close out all programs (including short-cut bar). If you have had the computer up and running for awhile or have been doing a lot of multi-tasking, it is best to restart the computer to clear up the memory environment.
You need to install the program in a directory that all workstations can access and is available whenever you would like Touch N Go to function. The server installation must be prior to the workstation installations.
Installer must login as a user that has full read and write privileges for the directory/folder you will be installing into (including the right to install programs).
Also, you must install Touch N Go, the Desktop In-and-Out Board into a directory that each user can read-from, write-to, and execute-programs in.
Server:
Insert demo-diskette (or execute the demotng.exe file) and follow instructions.
Workstation:
All workstations must have a mapped network drive to the directory where the Touch N Go tng.exe resides. You will want to have this network connection permanent so when the computer is restarted is can still load the program.
Win95/98 : Either through the Network Neighborhood or My Computer switch to the directory where the tng.exe resides, right click and drag tng.exe to the workstation desktop and choose Create Short-cut Here (do not copy).
You may also create a folder in Windows\Start Menu\Program\ **Name**\ and create a short-cut tng.exe into the folder.
Windows 3.1 and NT: locate the tng.exe in File Manager and drag and drop it into the program group you want it in (one can be created via Program Manager File menu option).
