Could not access system registry (Error 335) An attempt to read from or write to the system registry failed. This error is similar to Error 424 and the corrective actions taken for the 424 resolves Error 335. Just to further note, currently our programs do not enter anything in the system registry as they operate on the .ini premise.
Corrective Action (effective 1-6-97 version 1.21-Builds 761/84 & 764):
You will need to run the 424.exe found in the TNG directories (tngwrk and tngsvr). 424.exe will create a directory called windows\butng and move the Touch N’ Go program files from windows\system directory into \butng. Please read the information screen which pops up when 424 is executed.
Please follow these steps:
1) move the 424.exe into a temp directory,
2) restart the machine with all applications closed (temporarily remove any from startup,
3) uninstall the In-and-Out Board from the machine getting the 335 error,
4) run 424.exe,
5) re-install Touch N’ Go,
6) RESTART THE MACHINE, and
7) Start the Touch N’ Go In-and-Out Board.
