Data has changed; operation stopped. (Error 3197) Another user has changed the data you are trying to update.
Corrective Action (effective 9-22-96 version 1.12-builds 543/544):
This error has cropped up during the transition of Build 289 and later releases. The Build 289 entrprz.mdb is not compatible with the released version. It is best to use the newly created entrpz.mdb created during the installation; and re-input all names and information. OR you could email us the old database which we could convert for you, however, you will lose all historical in/out information.
Corrective Action for Version 1.21, Build 761:
Error 3197 is a sign that the database is becoming corrupted. We have created a little utility called trepair.exe that will repair and compact the database. You will need to place the trepair.exe into a workstation TNGWRK directory (it is not necessary to place it in and run from the TNGSVR directory). Everyone will need to be out of the program for this utility to run.
You will be prompted to Compact Enterprise Database or Repair Enterprise Database. First select Repair Enterprise Database and then Compact Enterprise Database..
If you installed Enterprise version 1.21, Build 84 or 764, trepair.exe was loaded into all TNG directories. If you are running an earlier Build (761), you can download the following trepair.exe at ftp://ftp.touchngo.com/pub/entrpriz/trepair.exe
