Object required (Error 424) References to properties and methods often require an explicit object qualifier. This error has the following causes and solutions:
We have found that there is usually a major interruption during the installation process i.e. ran out of disk space, hard drive corruption, etc.
Corrective Action (effective 11-4-96 version 1.12-builds543\544):
We have included the 424.exe in our Version 1.21 Build 761. You may download the appropriate patch found in our Patch Section to upgrade the program and obtain the 424.exe.
We have an executable that can be downloaded from our website called 424.exe. 424.exe will create a directory called windows\butng and move the Touch N’ Go program files from windows\system directory. Please read the information screen which pops up when 424 is executed carefully.
Please follow these steps:
1) move the 424.exe into a temp directory,
2) restart the machine with all applications closed (temporarily remove any from startup,
3) uninstall the In-and-Out Board from the machine getting the 424 error,
4) run 424.exe,
5) re-install Touch N’ Go,
6) RESTART THE MACHINE, and
7) Start the Touch N’ Go In-and-Out Board.
