Object server not correctly registered (Error 336) The OLE server has not been properly registered in the system registry.
We have found that this means windows was not able to properly register the program files. Very similar to Error 424 and, infact, the corrective action is the same.
Corrective Action (effective 8-13-97 version 1.21 builds543\544 through 84/764):
The 424.exe fixes Error 336 and is installed in all TNG directories during the time of installation if you are using Builds 761 and later.
The 424.exe can be downloaded from our website called 424.exe (see bottom of this page). When the 424.exe is started it will create a directory called windows\butng and move the Touch N’ Go program files from windows\system directory into \butng. Please carefully read the information screen which pops up when 424 is executed.
Please follow these steps:
1) move the 424.exe into a temp directory from the tngwrk directory,
2) restart the machine with all applications closed (temporarily remove any from startup),
3) uninstall the In-and-Out Board from the machine getting the 424 error,
start/run statement: c:\windows\unwise.exe c:\tngwrk\install.log
4) run 424.exe,
5) re-install Touch N’ Go,
6) RESTART THE MACHINE, and
7) Start the Touch N’ Go In-and-Out Board.
