Where and when practicable, all garbage and waste must be burned or incinerated and the inert residues and other noncombustibles buried and covered with at least one foot of compacted soil; and putrescible wastes, such as food wastes or animal carcasses, that are not incinerated shall be buried or covered with at least four feet of compacted soil. All garbage or waste that cannot be burned or buried shall be packed out to a site where it can be burned or buried satisfactorily. The cabin and surrounding area must be kept clean, tidy, and litter free.
