A purchaser or licensee under this chapter and the purchaser's or licensee's employees, subcontractors, and assigns shall comply with the federal, state, and local laws and regulations which apply to the protection and use of the land on which the timber or material is located. Compliance with the provisions of this chapter is a condition of a sale or license under this chapter. Failure to comply with the provisions of this chapter is cause for suspension or cancellation of the sale or license.
