All bees entering the state must be free from bee disease. All bees and beekeeping equipment in the state are subject to inspection by the director to prevent the introduction, establishment, and spread of bee disease. For the purposes of this chapter, "bee disease" includes American Foulbrood or European Foulbrood and acarine mites or any other parasitic pest that constitutes a serious threat to the bee industry.
