AS 15.10.020. Precinct Boundaries and Polling Places Modified By Director.
- (a) The director shall have the exclusive power to modify the boundary of a precinct and to establish or abolish a
precinct and polling place in the state by regulations adopted under AS 44.62 (Administrative Procedure Act).
- (b) Whenever possible, the director shall send written notice of any change in a precinct boundary or polling place to
each affected registered voter in the precinct.
