AS 14.20.155. Effect of Tenure Rights.
- (a) Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, a teacher who has acquired tenure rights has the right to employment
within the district during continuous service.
- (b) A teacher who has acquired tenure rights may agree to a new contract at any time. However, if the teacher fails to
agree to a new contract, the provisions of the previous contract are continued subject to AS 14.20.158
