Notwithstanding AS 11.31.140
(d),
- (1) a person may not be charged under AS 11.31.100
if the crime allegedly attempted by the defendant is defined in such a way that an attempt to engage in the proscribed
conduct constitutes commission of the crime itself;
- (2) a person may not be charged under AS 11.31.110
if the solicitation in question is defined as a specific crime under other provisions of law.
