ANCHORAGE, AK (March, 1996)-Touch N' Go, Inc. announces a new enhanced version of the innovative electronic office personnel tracking system, Touch N' GoŽ, the desktop in and out board. Touch N' Go, Version 1.4 software serves as an in and out board, allowing employees to come and go, yet their whereabouts can be traced at the touch of a computer key. Designed for small businesses or company departments with up to 20 employees, Touch N' Go saves time and money by eliminating the resources wasted looking for people. An enterprise edition that will accommodate up to 100 users is currently under development. Unlike manual in and out boards, Touch N' Go is instantly accessible from all workstations, so everyone in the office can always know where their coworkers are, without ever leaving their desks.

Touch N' Go is easy to install, and new features have been added to maximize ease of use. The program can be set up in a matter of minutes, with a client/server display of employee comings and goings. Status indicators show if each employee is IN, OUT, or IN* (in the office, but not available). A Remarks line can be used to show the departure time or the specific whereabouts of the employees, and this can now be instantly accessed for changes by clicking directly on the field. The in and out data history is stored on a common database in the server, which is automatically queried for updates each minute. In addition, the screen can be manually updated at any time.
