(a) When the board conducts a hearing to revoke all, or a portion, of the mandatory parole of a prisoner before the prisoners actual release on parole, the board will conduct that hearing as a final revocation hearing for purposes of AS 33.16.220 . A preliminary hearing is not required for the board to revoke all, or a portion, of the mandatory parole of a prisoner before the prisoner's actual release on parole.
(b) If mandatory parole is revoked under this section, the board will notify the prisoner as described in 22 AAC 20.515.
