Section 135. Facility tours

22 AAC 05.135. Facility tours

(a) A person may tour a facility with advance approval of the superintendent.

(b) A person touring a facility may enter only the areas that the superintendent designates and is subject to exclusion under 22 AAC 05.130(d) or for failure to follow the instructions of a staff member conducting the tour.

(c) A person touring a facility may not possess or use a camera, tape recorder, or other sound or visual recorder without the prior approval of the superintendent. The superintendent may approve the possession or use only if no threat is posed to the security of the facility or privacy of individual prisoners.
