(a) Except for Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, each facility shall provide prisoners with three meals every 24 hours, of which at least two must be served hot. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the facility shall provide two hot meals no more than 14 hours apart.
(b) The commissioner will adopt procedures for the provision of special meals to accommodate cultural preference or religious, vegetarian, and medical diets.
