(a) If a grant requires that the grantee contribute a portion of the project costs from other sources, the authority will specify in the grant either the amount of the required contribution or the proportion of the project cost that the grantee must provide from other sources. In the grant, the authority may also specify the timetable for the grantee to provide those contributions.
(b) The authority may require a grantee to verify that the grantee has provided required contributions and may withhold payments under the grant if those contributions are not timely provided. Unless another form of verification is permitted by the grant, provision of required contributions must be verified by a person certified or licensed as a public accountant under AS 08.04.
