(a) The application period for entry permits for those fisheries designated in 20 AAC 05.300 or 20 AAC 05.310 will be from December 19, 1974, through 12:00 midnight March 18, 1975.
(b) The application period for entry permits for those fisheries designated in 20 AAC 05.310(a) (9) - (13) will be from March 10, 1976, until midnight June 10, 1976.
(c) The commission will consider only those entry permit applications that are postmarked or hand delivered to the commission on or before the closing date for application of that fishery.
(d) If an application contains errors, omissions, or insufficient supporting evidence, the commission will indicate this to the applicant and will give the applicant a reasonable amount of time to correct any defects or insufficiencies in his application.
(e) The commission may extend the time for receipt of an application for a period not to exceed 60 days for good cause shown.
(f) The application period for entry permits for those fisheries designated in 20 AAC 05.300 and 20 AAC 05.310(a) (1) - (8) for those individuals who harvested salmon commercially in one of these fisheries as a gear license holder, for the first time in 1973 or 1974, will be from January 15, 1977, through midnight September 30, 1977. The commission will, in its discretion, extend the time for receipt of an application for a period not to exceed 30 days, for good cause shown.
(g) The application period for entry permits for the Southeastern and Prince William Sound roe herring purse seine and Cook Inlet combined roe herring and herring purse seine fisheries will be from February 25, 1977, through April 25, 1977.
(h) The application period for entry permits for the Southeastern herring gillnet fishery is from March 15, 1978 until midnight June 15, 1978.
(i) The application period for entry permits for the Prince William Sound roe herring gillnet fishery is from February 15, 1981 through midnight August 15, 1981. Late applications will only be accepted upon a showing of good cause until October 15, 1981.
(j) The application period for entry permits for the statewide salmon hand troll fishery is from March 1, 1981 until midnight August 31, 1981. Late applications will be accepted upon a showing of good cause until October 30, 1981.
(k) The application period for entry permits for the Kodiak roe herring purse seine and gillnet fisheries is from October 15, 1982 until midnight April 30, 1983. Late applications will be accepted upon a showing of good cause until June 30, 1983.
( l ) In accordance with the Alaska Supreme Court decision in Rutter v. State of Alaska, 668 P.2d 1343 (Alaska 1983), a supplemental application period for additional points toward entry permits in the statewide salmon hand troll fishery under 20 AAC 05.677(c) (3) is established from January 1, 1985 until midnight, May 31, 1985. During this period, applicants who choose to claim additional points under 20 AAC 05.677(c) (3) may reopen claims for points available under the original point system specified in 20 AAC 05.677(a) - (c)(2). Late applications will be accepted, upon a showing of good cause, until July 31, 1985. Supplemental applications will be accepted only from those who were eligible to apply and submitted timely applications during the original salmon hand troll permit application period under (j) of this section.
(m) The application period for entry permits for the Southeastern Alaska red and blue king crab pot fishery, brown king crab pot fishery, and Tanner crab pot fishery is from January 30, 1987 to midnight April 30, 1987. A late application will be accepted upon a showing of good cause until June 30, 1987.
(n) The application period for entry permits for the Northern Southeast Inside sablefish longline fishery, Southern Southeast Inside sablefish longline fishery, and Southern Southeast Inside sablefish pot fishery is from September 1, 1987 to midnight November 30, 1987. Upon a showing of good cause, a late application will be accepted until December 31, 1987.
(o) The application period for entry permits for the Prince William Sound herring spawn on kelp pound fishery is from November 1, 1987 to midnight November 30, 1987. Upon a showing of good cause a late application will be accepted until December 31, 1987.
(p) The application period for entry permits for the Norton Sound herring gillnet fishery, Norton Sound herring beach seine fishery, Cape Romanzof herring gillnet fishery, Nelson Island herring gillnet fishery, and Nunivak Island herring gillnet fishery is from November 1, 1989 to midnight, November 1, 1990.
(q) The application period for entry permits for the Bristol Bay (Togiak) herring spawn on kelp fishery is from March 15, 1991 to midnight, December 1, 1991.
(r) The application period for entry permits for the Southeastern Alaska Dungeness crab pot, ring net, and diving gear fisheries is from September 3, 1996 to midnight, December 16, 1996.
(s) The application period for entry permits for the Cook Inlet Dungeness crab pot and ring net fisheries is from September 16, 1996 to midnight, December 30, 1996.
(t) The application period for entry permits for the Southeastern Alaska shrimp pot fishery is from March 15, 1997 to midnight, June 15, 1997.
(u) The application period for entry permits for the Prince William Sound sablefish fixed gear, pot gear and net gear fisheries is from September 1, 1997 to midnight, December 1, 1997.
(v) The application period for entry permits for the Northern Southeast herring spawn-on-kelp pound fishery and for the Southern Southeast herring spawn-on-kelp pound fishery is from October 1, 1997 to midnight, February 1, 1998.
(w) The application period for entry permits for the Southeastern Alaska shrimp beam trawl fishery and Southeastern Alaska shrimp otter trawl fishery is from October 15, 1998 to midnight March 1, 1999.
(x) The application period for entry permits for the Goodnews Bay herring gillnet fishery is from January 15, 1999 through November 15, 1999.
(y) The application period for entry permits for the Southeast Alaska sea urchin dive fishery is from August 21, 2000 through November 15, 2000.
(z) The application period for entry permits for the Southeastern Alaska geoduck clam dive fishery and the Southeastern Alaska sea cucumber dive fishery is from February 21, 2001 through May 30, 2001.
(aa) The application period for entry permits for the Kodiak food and bait herring fisheries is from April 15, 2002 through June 14, 2002.
(bb) The application period for entry permits for the Kodiak bairdi Tanner crab pot fishery is from March 1, 2004 through September 1, 2004.
