(a) No industrial radiographic operation shall be conducted unless calibrated and operable ionizing radiation survey instrumentation as described in sec. 530 of this chapter is available and used at each site where radiographic exposures are made.
(b) Records shall be kept of the surveys required by part (a) of this section and maintained for inspection by the department.
