(a) In addition to the requirements of 18 AAC 80.670, the owner or operator of a Class A or Class B public water system that uses a surface water source or a GWUDISW source and that provides filtration treatment shall report to the department in writing the information required in this section within 10 days after the last day of each month during which the system serves water to the public, subject to the report certification requirements of 18 AAC 80.1900. Before that date, the owner or operator shall meet the requirements of 18 AAC 80.610.
(b) The owner or operator shall report turbidity measurements required by 18 AAC 80.665(b) to the department within 10 days after the last day of each month during which the system filters water, subject to the report certification requirements of 18 AAC 80.1900. The owner or operator shall report the following information:
(1) the date, time, and value of each turbidity measurement required by 18 AAC 80.665(b) ;
(2) the total number of filtered water turbidity measurements taken during the month;
(3) the number and percentage of filtered water turbidity measurements taken during the month that are less than or equal to the turbidity levels set out in 18 AAC 80.650 for the filtration technology being used;
(4) the date and value of any turbidity measurements taken during the month that exceed five NTUs.
(c) The owner or operator need not report the data listed in 18 AAC 80.670(a) (1) if the data listed in 18 AAC 80.670(a) (1) - (3) remain on file at the owner or operator's office and the department finds that the owner or operator has submitted the information required by 18 AAC 80.670(a) (1) - (3) for at least the previous 12 months during which the system provided water to the public.
