(a) If a facility regularly provides care for physically handicapped persons, appropriate equipment, which may include access ramps, handrails, grab bars, and accommodations for wheelchairs, must be provided.
(b) Mechanical aids furnished by the facility or owned by the occupants must be maintained in a sanitary manner, kept in good repair, and conveniently located.
(c) Doorways and corridors must be of a sufficient width to reasonably permit the passage of persons who require mechanical aids, including crutches, wheelchairs, and walkers.
(d) On a floor where persons in wheelchairs are regularly present, there must be at least one toilet room large enough to accommodate wheelchairs.
(e) There must be a bathtub or shower in the facility which is equipped to accommodate a nonambulatory person.
(f) Well-secured grab bars must be installed in toilet rooms and bathing areas of the facility.
