(a) The Alaska Marine Highway System shall promptly submit billings to the private sector user after use of the marine highway system terminal facilities.
(b) Billings must include, as applicable, the charges specified in the Alaska Marine Highway System Terminal and Terminal Operation Tariff or terminal use authorization or contract for use of the terminal facilities and transfer bridges, liquidated damages for delay as set out in 17 AAC 70.280, and any direct costs passed through to the private sector user under the provisions of 17 AAC 70.295.
(c) Failure to pay within 30 days after billing will result in an interest charge of 1.5 percent per month, until paid.
