(a) The department will, in its discretion, require an amendment to an existing utility permit or new permit for all utility service connections.
(b) The department will, in its discretion, allow a permittee to install additional service connections across or within a department right-of-way where a longitudinal underground, surface, or overhead distribution or feeder line has been installed under a utility permit. The utility permit will be amended by the department to include the additional service connections.
(c) New permits are required for underground utility service connections which cross a department right-of-way and which originate from distribution lines located outside the right-of-way.
