(a) The Department of Corrections shall report to the repository the following information for a person who has been placed in the custody or under the supervision of the commissioner of the Department of Corrections, including the Board of Parole, in connection with an offense:
(1) for each charge,
(A) the arrest tracking number; for a collateral offense an arrest tracking number is not required;
(B) the court case number if one has been assigned; for a collateral offense a court case number is required;
(C) the charge number;
(D) the offense code;
(E) if sentenced, the scheduled date of unconditional discharge;
(2) for a person incarcerated in a correctional facility, identification of the facility and the date of admission;
(3) for a person who has escaped or unlawfully evaded custody and has not been returned to the custody of the Department of Corrections, the date, the time, and the location from which the person escaped or unlawfully evaded custody;
(4) for a person on a furlough, the name or title of a person responsible for supervision of the furlough and a telephone number where a person responsible for the furlough may be contacted at any time;
(5) for a person who is not incarcerated or on a furlough, but is otherwise in the custody or under the supervision of the Department of Corrections, including the Board of Parole,
(A) the name, title, and telephone number of a person responsible for custody or supervision;
(B) a description of the type and conditions of custody or supervision;
(6) for a person who absconds from probation or parole supervision, and has not been removed from abscond status, the date of placement on abscond status;
(7) for a person whose parole is revoked or conditions changed,
(A) the date of revocation or change;
(B) the court case number;
(C) the charge number;
(D) the offense code; and
(E) a description of the revocation or change;
(8) for a person who is released from the custody or supervision of the Department of Corrections, including the Board of Parole, the date and type of release from custody or supervision, consisting of one of the following occurrences:
(A) court-ordered release of a person who has not been unconditionally discharged;
(B) transfer to a municipal correctional facility in this state, including identification of that facility;
(C) release of a person who has not been unconditionally discharged to the custody of a jurisdiction outside this state as the result of a detainer under AS 33.35.010 ;
(D) release of a person who has not been unconditionally discharged to the custody of a jurisdiction outside this state as a result of extradition under AS 12.70;
(E) unconditional discharge; or
(F) death of the person.
(b) For a person incarcerated in a correctional facility operated by a municipality, in connection with an offense, the agency that operates the facility shall report to the repository
(1) information described in (a)(1) - (a)(4) of this section; and,
(2) for a person who is released from the facility, the date and type of release, consisting of one of the following occurrences:
(A) court-ordered release of a person who has not been unconditionally discharged;
(B) transfer to another municipal correctional facility in this state, including identification of that facility;
(C) transfer to a state correctional facility, including identification of that facility;
(D) release of a person who has not been unconditionally discharged to the custody of a jurisdiction outside this state as the result of a detainer under AS 33.35.010 ;
(E) release of a person who has not been unconditionally discharged to the custody of a jurisdiction outside this state as a result of extradition under AS 12.70;
(F) unconditional discharge; or
(G) death of the person.
(c) Information described in (a) and (b) of this section must be reported to the repository within 24 hours of the time that the information becomes known to the reporting agency, and updated within 24 hours of the time that the reporting agency knows of a change in the information.
