(a) Within five working days of admission, an agency that photographs a person at the time of initial admission to a correctional facility in connection with an offense shall forward the photograph to the repository. The photograph must include
(1) identification of the agency that took the photograph; and
(2) the date that the photograph was taken.
(b) Information required under this section must be submitted to the repository by mail or courier unless another method of transmittal is approved by the department.
