Section 120. Required submission of fingerprints

13 AAC 68.120. Required submission of fingerprints

(a) Within five working days after fingerprinting a person under AS 12.80.060 , an agency shall submit to the repository two sets of legible fingerprints and the following information:

(1) identification of the agency submitting the fingerprints;

(2) the date of arrest or citation or, if the subject has not been arrested or cited, the date that the subject was ordered to submit to fingerprinting;

(3) the date of the offense, if known;

(4) if the subject was arrested or cited, identification of the arresting or citing agency or, if the identification of the arresting or citing agency is unknown, identification of the court that ordered the subject to be fingerprinted;

(5) for each charge,

(A) the arrest tracking number; for a collateral offense an arrest tracking number is not required;

(B) the court case number if one has been assigned; for a collateral offense a court case number is required;

(C) the charge number;

(D) the offense code; and

(E) if the fingerprint card is completed by the arresting agency, an indication if the charge involves domestic violence; and

(6) if submitted by mail or courier, the signature of the subject.

(b) Information required under this section may be provided to the repository by mail, courier, or electronic transfer from an automated fingerprint device approved by the department.
