In this chapter
(1) "commissioner" means the commissioner of the Alaska Department of Public Safety;
(2) "department" means the Alaska Department of Public Safety;
(3) "qualified agent" means an officer, owner, partner, or individual in a management capacity, residing in Alaska, who is authorized to perform all business activities and is responsible for all activities of a security guard agency;
(4) "competence" has the meaning given in AS 18.65.790 ;
(5) "firearm" has the meaning given in AS 11.81.900 (b).
