Upon written request of a police officer, the Department of Education and Early Development, a school district, or the employer of a school bus driver, the department will, in its discretion, upon giving 10 days' notice to the school bus driver, require the driver to submit to a part or all of the examination requirements. If the school bus driver does not satisfactorily pass examination the department will, in its discretion, revoke the person's permit until the examination is passed. Refusal or neglect to submit to re-examination will result in revocation of the permit until the examination is satisfactorily completed.
