The board will accept nursing employment toward fulfillment of the continuing competency requirements set out in 12 AAC 44.600 if the applicant documents at least 320 hours of practice of practical nursing or registered nursing, as defined in AS 08.68.410 , during the two years before the licensing period for which the applicant seeks renewal. The applicant shall document those hours on a renewal survey form provided by the board and shall include the name of the nurse's employer.
