(a) After a hearing under AS 44.62, the board will, in its discretion, deny approval of a nursing education program if it determines that the program fails substantially to meet the standards for nursing education defined by the board.
(b) After a hearing under AS 44.62, the board will, in its discretion, revoke approval if
(1) the program has been unable to achieve minimal standards within one year of conditional approval; or
(2) the board determines that a nursing education program has not provided sufficient evidence that the standards of nursing education are being met.
(c) The board will, in its discretion, consider reinstatement of approval of a nursing education program upon submission of satisfactory evidence that the program meets the standards of nursing education.
