In this chapter and in AS 08.63,
(1) "board" means the Board of Marital and Family Therapy;
(2) "department" means the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development;
(3) "year of practice" means 12 months of active, clinical practice of marital and family therapy totaling at least 500 hours.
