12 AAC 04.280. Out-of-state CPA permit

(a) The department may issue an out-of-state certified public accountant permit under AS 08.04.420 to a certified public accountant, or a partnership or corporation of certified public accountants, in good standing in another jurisdiction upon receipt of

(1) a complete application on a form provided by the department;

(2) the fees required in 12 AAC 02.340;

(3) verification of a current license or certificate, in good standing, to practice public accounting in another licensing jurisdiction; and

(4) evidence of continuing education at least equivalent to that required by 12 AAC 04.300 - 12 AAC 04.430.

(b) The department shall submit each application and action under (a) of this section to the board of its next meeting so that the board can review the department's action on the application.
