The department will, in its discretion, issue a general permit under 11 AAC 09.300 to authorize a specific category of uses requiring a commercial-use permit. The general permit will be subject to specific terms and conditions listed on the permit, including any terms or conditions required for a determination of consistency with the Alaska Coastal Management Program, if applicable. If the department issues a general permit, an applicant must meet all the requirements of 11 AAC 09.300(b) .
