(a) The department may, in the exercise of its discretion, approve applications of agencies desiring to become GED testing centers which agree to conduct their GED testing activities in accordance with the requirements of 8 AAC 99.130 - 8 AAC 99.190 and which are
(1) school districts;
(2) accredited institutions of higher education; or
(3) organizations which operate adult education programs approved by the department.
(b) Testing centers may charge a fee for test administration. If fees are charged, they must be posted at each test location. Fees may not exceed the following amounts:
(1) $25 for a complete battery; or
(2) $5 for a single test or retest.
