The director will approve a continuing education workshop if
(1) a description of the workshop and the number of hours of instruction are submitted to the director; the continuing education workshop must cover the edition of the National Electrical Code in effect in the state at the time the workshop is presented;
(2) the workshop requires participants to register; and
(3) verification of satisfactory completion of the workshop is provided to the participants on a completion certificate; the department will provide completion certificates to authorized providers; if the workshop is provided by an approved national organization, a participant must obtain a completion certificate from the local representative of that organization.
