(a) An individual who is eligible because of a pending job loss described in AS 23.15.635 (2) must have verification that the job loss will, or is likely to, occur. Verification under this subsection may be in the form of a letter signed by the individual's employer or supervisor, a public announcement, or similar proof that the job loss will, or is likely to, occur.
(b) An employment assistance and training entity must obtain the verification of displacement from the employer before services may be provided.
