In AS 23.15.820 - 23.15.850 and this chapter, unless the context requires otherwise,
(1) "board" means the Alaska Workforce Investment Board;
(2) "training" means an activity designed to instruct a participant; "training" includes classroom training, customized training, registered apprenticeship training, on-the-job training, skill- or industry-specific training, vocational training, literacy training, adult basic education, post-secondary training, and graduate training.
