The department's representative may consult with employees concerning matters of occupational safety and health to the extent he deems necessary for the conduct of an effective and thorough inspection. During the course of an inspection, employees will be afforded an opportunity to bring any violations of AS 18.60.010 - 18.60.105 or regulations, standards, rules or orders promulgated pursuant thereto which exist in the place of employment to the attention of the department's representative.
