An alcohol safety action program (ASAP) provides alcohol and substance abuse screening, referral, and monitoring of persons who are required to participate in an ASAP by a court or another agency authorized to require that participation. The provisions of 7 AAC 80.210 - 7 AAC 80.230 apply to an ASAP operated by the department or by a contractor or grantee that provides ASAP services.
