(a) The department will limit the use of all child protection information to purposes directly connected with the administration of child protection services programs.
(b) The department will not disclose any child protection information obtained by a representative, agent, volunteer, or employee of the department in the course of discharging the child protection duties of the department to anyone outside of the department, other than in the administration of the child protection services programs and as provided in this chapter or AS 47.10.090 - 47.10.093.
(c) The department may not use or disclose protected health information except as required or permitted by 45 C.F.R. Part 160, subpart C and Part 164, subpart E, revised as of October 1, 2004 and adopted by reference.
