A resident may be removed to a more-restrictive status for discipline or control at the discretion of the supervisor of the living unit. This action must be reviewed by the superintendent or the superintendent's designee by the close of business of the next working day. The superintendent or designee shall make an initial determination whether to hold the resident in the status pending a hearing. If it is determined that disciplinary action for a major infraction under 7 AAC 52.310 will not be taken, the resident must be returned to the less-restrictive status.
