General Relief payments for rent, food, fuel, clothing, utilities, house repair, transportation, or funeral and burial expenses, as well as General Relief Medical assistance payments, may be made only to the vendor or provider and not to the recipient of assistance. General Relief vendor payments may not be made for services or goods provided before the month of application. General Relief Medical provider payments may be made for medical services or goods provided before the month of application on behalf of those persons who meet the requirements of 7 AAC 47.030.
