7 AAC 45.467. Availability of the income of a parent of a minor parent

When determining if the assistance unit meets the income eligibility standards of 7 AAC 45.470, and when determining the payment amount under 7 AAC 45.525, the department will consider the income of the minor parent's parent to be available to the minor parent and dependent child, if a minor parent of a dependent child lives in the household of the minor parent's own parent and the parent of the minor parent has not applied for and is not receiving ATAP benefits. The deductions allowed in determining the income of a minor parent's parent are those deductions for stepparents allowed under 7 AAC 45.465(b) .
