Payment for services rendered by an outpatient surgical clinic to recipients will be paid in accordance with 7 AAC 43.670 - 7 AAC 43.709. This payment covers all operative functions attendant to medically necessary surgery performed at the clinic by a private physician or dentist, including admitting and laboratory tests, patient history and examination, operating room staffing and attendants, recovery room care, and discharge. It includes all supplies related to the surgical care of the recipient while in the clinic. The payment excludes the physician's fee, radiologist's fee, and anesthesiologist's fee.
