(a) Medicaid will pay for routine dental services for recipients under age 21. Medicaid payment for recipients age 21 or older is limited to dental services for the immediate relief of pain and acute infection.
(b) After services have been rendered, the dentist must complete the invoice and mail it to the division. Payment will be made by the division using the same methodology as that used for physicians at 7 AAC 43.040.
