(a) An eligible applicant who is residing in an assisted living home shall receive a monthly payment of up to $100 for incidental personal needs, in the following amount:
(1) if the applicant is eligible for SSI benefits, $100;
(2) if the applicant is not eligible for SSI benefits, the greater of the following:
(A) an amount that is equal to the SSI income standard under 20 C.F.R. 416.401 - 416.412 that would apply if the applicant were eligible for SSI benefits, plus $100, less the applicant's total monthly income determined under 7 AAC 40.350;
(B) $1.
(b) This section does not apply to an eligible applicant who resides in an assisted living home for less than a full calendar month.
