(a) A person who is denied medical assistance under 7 AAC 43.010 - 7 AAC 43.985 is eligible to receive general relief medical assistance if the person is denied medical assistance under 7 AAC 43.010 - AAC 43.985 solely because a permanent fund dividend received by the person or a member of his household is counted as income or a resource.
(b) A person who is denied assistance from a program set out in (c) of this section is eligible to receive general relief cash assistance if the person is denied assistance solely because a permanent fund dividend received by the person or a member of his household is counted as income or a resource.
(c) The programs to which (b) of this section applies are
(1) the aid to families with dependent children (AFDC) program administered under AS 47.25.310 - 47.25.420;
(2) the adult public assistance (APA) program administered under AS 47.25.430 - 47.25.615;
(3) the food stamp program administered under AS 47.25.975 - 47.25.990; and
(4) the supplemental security income (SSI) program administered under 42 U.S.C. 1381 et seq.
