(a) The department will review each certificate of need application received under this chapter to determine if it is complete.
(b) Within 30 days after receipt of an application, the department will notify the applicant in writing that the application has been accepted as complete or will request additional information under (c) of this section as necessary for the department to complete its review. To be determined complete, an application must meet the criteria of 7 AAC 07.040.
(c) If the department requests additional information under (b) of this section, the applicant shall submit the information within 60 days after receiving the request. The department will review any additional information submitted under this subsection within 20 days after the information is received and will notify the applicant that the application is complete or that the department requires additional information to complete its review.
(d) If an applicant fails to submit additional information requested under (b) or (c) of this section within 60 days after receiving the request, the department will deny the application. An applicant whose application is denied for untimely submission of additional information may submit a new application for review under this section or may resubmit the initial application with the additional information.
