Beginning at the intersection of Cutler River and Noatak River; then southerly along the thread of Cutler River to its headwaters; then southwesterly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the headwaters of Nekakte River; then southwesterly along the thread of Nekakte River to its intersection with Kobuk River; then westerly along the southern shoreline of Kobuk River to Melvin Channel; then westerly along the northern shoreline of Melvin Channel to Nulvororok Channel; then northerly along the western shoreline of Nulvororok Channel to the southern shore of Nulvororok Lake; then northeasterly along the eastern shoreline of Nulvororok Lake to the southern shore of Ekichuk Lake; then northwesterly along the southern shoreline of Ekichuk Lake to the eastern shore of Hotham Inlet; then northwesterly along the northern shoreline of Hotham Inlet to the mouth of Noatak River; then northeasterly along the eastern shoreline of Noatak River to its intersection with Little Noatak Slough; then southeasterly along the thread of Little Noatak Slough to its intersection with the Noatak National Preserve boundary; then northeasterly along the Noatak National Preserve boundary to its intersection with the Kobuk Valley National Park boundary; then northeasterly and southeasterly along the Kobuk Valley National Park boundary to its intersection with Nanielik Creek; then northeasterly along the thread of Nanielik Creek to its intersection with Noatak River; then easterly along the northern shoreline of Noatak River to the point of beginning, including all that area within the boundaries of the City of Kiana.
