A portion of the Ketchikan Gateway Borough described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the City of Ketchikan boundary and South Tongass Highway; then northeasterly along the City of Ketchikan boundary to its intersection with the Tongass National Forest boundary; then northerly along the Tongass National Forest boundary to its intersection with Ketchikan Creek; then northerly along the thread of Ketchikan Creek to Lower Ketchikan Lake; then northeasterly along the eastern shoreline of Lower and Upper Ketchikan Lakes to the northeastern shore of Upper Ketchikan Lake; then northeasterly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the northwestern shore of Upper Mahoney Lake; then easterly along the southern shoreline of Upper Mahoney Lake to its northeastern shore; then northeasterly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the southwestern shore of Mahoney Lake; then easterly along the southern shoreline of Mahoney Lake to its southeastern shore; then east along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the head of a small cove due south of Mahoney Mine in George Inlet; then northerly along the western shoreline of George Inlet to a foot trail on the southeastern shore of Salt Lagoon; then northeasterly along the centerline of the foot trail to the northern shore of a small lake due west of North Saddle Lake; then northeasterly along the northern shoreline of the small lake to its northern tip; then easterly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the northern shore of North Saddle Lake; then easterly along the northern shoreline of North Saddle Lake to a foot trail on the eastern shoreline of North Saddle Lake; then easterly along the centerline of the foot trail to Shelter Cove in Carrol Inlet; then south along the western shoreline of Carrol Inlet to the mouth of Gunsight Creek; then northeast along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the mouth of Calamity Creek; then southerly along the eastern shoreline of Carrol Inlet to the mouth of Marble Creek; then northeasterly along the thread of Marble Creek to the headwaters of Marble Creek; then easterly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the northwestern shore of Mirror Lake; then southeasterly along the northeastern shoreline of Mirror Lake to the Mirror-Loon Lake Connector Creek; then southeasterly along the thread of Mirror-Loon Lake Connector Creek to Loon Lake; then easterly along the northern shoreline of Loon Lake to Loon-Ella Lake Connector Creek; then southerly along the thread of Loon-Ella Lake Connector Creek to Ella Lake; then easterly along the northern shoreline of Ella Lake to the headwaters of Ella Creek; then easterly along the thread of Ella Creek to Lower Ella Lake; then easterly along the northern shoreline of Lower Ella Lake to Ella Creek; then easterly along the thread of Ella Creek to its mouth; then easterly along the southern shoreline of Ella Bay to Ella Point; then due east along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the Ketchikan Gateway Borough boundary in Behm Canal; then southwesterly and northerly along the Ketchikan Gateway Borough boundary to its intersection with a non-visible point-to-point line extending west from Vallenar Point; then east along the non-visible point-to-point line to Vallenar Point; then southeasterly along the northern shoreline of Gravina Island to its intersection with a non-visible point-to-point line extending westerly from the northwest corner of the City of Ketchikan boundary in Tongass Narrows; then easterly along the non-visible point-to-point line extending to the northwest corner of the City of Ketchikan boundary; then southeasterly along the City of Ketchikan boundary to the point of beginning, including Pennock and Gravina Islands, and excluding all that area within the boundaries of the City of Saxman.
