Notwithstanding 6 AAC 27.170(c) , the director may require a voter to verify the physical location of the voter's residence, by means of an attestation to the fact, in order to qualify to vote in (1) a municipal incorporation election under AS 29.05.110 ; or (2) a local option election under AS 04.11.491 - 04.11.495, conducted by the division under AS 04.11.507 . The attestation of the voter regarding the physical location of the voter's residence in accordance with this section is presumptive evidence of the voter's residence.
